I have seen on the Grand Central Trains website that they do E Tickets but is that just for there services from London to Sunderland or could i book say a Ticket traveling on first transpennie to york and get a E Ticket if i book it on Grand Central website??

I do think the E Ticket thing is a great idea and more Train servies should do it as if Coach and Megatrain can do it then why cant all the others do it?

Also Do Grand Central have fees for booking with a Debit card online?

I'm not sure what the first question means but they are for travel on GC only.

I'm not so sure it's a great idea actually. Basically instead of offering AP fares that most TOCs offer at as little as 1/4 of the full fare, they claim to be offering tickets at e.g. "half price" when they are actually AP fares that are only 50% discounted from flexible fares, and they are also only available at short notice by which time I've already booked on NXEC! Sometimes they offer full fare tickets as e-tickets, in which case there is absolutely no benefit to the customer whatsoever. I even caught them selling more expensive tickets than you could buy on board a few weeks ago!

The only place that charges booking fees when using a debit card, as far as I know, is Thetrainline.com. All other sites don't, including GC.

Raileasy has the most expensive booking fees I've found but their website also sells some interesting tickets which really can be a bargain!
