Nice, glad to see a quick return!

Would have been quicker had the crane lifting the power unit out not failed mid-lift and then having to wait for a spare part for said crane !!!<(:grin:

Good news with 43068 that, shame 057 had to give her engine up but in the greater scheme of things I'm happier to see GC running. After all, I plan to travel with GC in a few weeks time!

The 1650 looked fairly empty when I saw it pass through south of York today.

I've heard from a contact that there's a group of rowdy people drinking on board the 1730 SUN-KGX now apparently, they are on NXEC AP tickets with no good excuse and refusing to pay for GC tickets. May require BTP at KGX.

Any specific date ?

As soon as I know it, I'll let you know.

Spent too much money in the last 5 days so can't book my tickets now. Was planning to be in early September, but I've also got VWC drags to be doing in September and the final couple of AXC Summer Saturdays to be doing...A busy month ahead!

just thought I'd ask, is there any chance that one day, all normal NR fares will be valid on GC, such as Tyne & Tees day rangers?
