I've just worked these out and posted on GC Rail Gen (Should be right but not neccessarily 100% accurate). I will update daily if poss.
1A60 - Expected HST (43065 + 43067)
1N25 - Confirmed HST (43084 + 43123)
1A61 - Expected 'Zephyr'
1N26 - Expected HST (43065 + 43067)
1A62 - Confirmed HST (43084 + 43123)
1N28 - Expected 'Zephyr'
1A63 - Expected HST (43065 + 43067)
1N29 - Confirmed HST (43084 + 43123

The 0804 KINGS X - SNRLND 1152
Will be worked by a HST today.

NB - 41xxx is a replacement for 41202 stopped at Grantham following a HABD

Just a suggestion for you to consider - but as this thread is already so massive, it might be appropriate:
How about creating a new thread? One for loco numbers and other info of interest to spotters such as train sightings, and leaving this "old" thread for GC Company info and developments?
Might be easier to follow?
What do others think?

It is an interesting point, might be more noticeable if there was a thread titled "Grand Central Gen" or such like. But I'm also happy with it all on this thread, so either way suits me.

quite right. 43068 will return with an MTU engine. It was in need of major engine reapairs due to an oil pressure fault (confirmed by Heaton) so the MTU carry-on was brought forward...
HSTs are both at Heaton with 180101 (confirmed) and 180107 (presumed). This means 180114 will work as follows today in place of the expected HST.

Just a query for GC, I take it that they are recruiting additional drivers then for the West Riding services?
If so, I take it that they (as in the new recruited drivers) will be learning the route via Hertford North as I am currently led to believe it is a Network Rail requirement to learn it as a diversionary route due to a incident a few years ago where a freight was requested to be diverted via the loop and the driver didn't sign the route.
Just haven't noticed any 5ZXXs on the line recently.

Indeed. There are regular booked services via Hertford over summer / autumn, haven't checked the exact dates, as well as the diversionary requirement to learn this route
At some point before the start of service I believe the training train will be routed via Hertford, but as drivers are able to use FCC services to route learn, the priority has been given to West Yorkshire routes which have little / no services with other operators, i.e Hare Park - Crofton West, Turners Lane - Calder Bridge, Whitehall Curve

There were 2 HST sets out yesterday and the only power car that was not in service and is not being MTU'd (43080) "may make an appearance in the next couple of days". If anyone has any gen today (Monday) it would be really appreciated (the only info I have is out of date but if the trains stuck to diagram then 065 + 123 should be on the 0804 kgx - sun; 1230 sun-kgx and 1918 sun-kgx but this is not confirmed)

Yes I know they have been running but via Welwyn Garden City, I've yet to hear of them running via Hertford North.
As to staff using FCC to route learn, I'm sure if that was the case then they would have used FCC for both routes.
If any have been running via Hertford then it's news to me.
Training train caped yesterday and today due to set running to Bounds Green for tyre turning.
A trip to Wakefield and back was achieved using the set off the 09:18, returning to Kings Cross for the 19:18
Fingers crossed the training run might get round the scenic parts of Yorkshire tomorrow!

Have to say I'm not all that enamoured with it, the Sunderland services are cheaper per mile, York - London is cheaper than Doncaster - London, also Hull Trains undercut them from Doncaster. However it must be said the fares from Bradford - Pontefract do offer enormous savings.
