I was waiting at York a little after 1000 hrs to board 1N90 the 0826 King's Cross to Sunderland, it was showing as delayed, then cancelled. I managed to complete my journey via Darlington and Thornaby. Later from my searches online 1N90 appears to have finally arriving at Peterborough some 210 minutes late and cancelled from there.
Were the passengers from London still on the train at that point, or were they transferred to a rescue service?
