Hello,

To save a phone call to some 0845 number before actually knowing weather the person i'm asking on behalf wants it or not; I'm asking how much are Grand Centrals Carnet Tickets (20 tickets)?

GC / NRE don't seem to want to tell me the price, just the phone number...

I don't know the answer, but if you must ring, try: 01709 849443

It says it's operated by the trainline, though so good luck getting any sense...

Looking at the GC website would suggest that it'd probably be issued as 20 Single tickets with a 25% discount on each, as there doesn't appear to be a Carnet ticket type.

In which case, for example, a First Class Anytime carnet for London - Sunderland would be £1830, with a Standard Off-Peak carnet for London - York setting you back £585.

Cheers,

Barry

If you've got an 0845 number try putting it into saynoto0870.com to see if you can find a cheaper local rate number

0845 numbers are charged at local rate from most landlines.... If your line rental includes free phone calls, there's a chance that 0845 numbers will be included too.

BT call packages generally include 0845 and 0870 numbers
