They're lovely trains, mainly because at the time they were specified to feel 'more HST than DMU' and they really do! Internally they look like a well refurbished Mk3, hopefully the IEP will look something like a class 180. Only problem with them is of course the reliability and underfloor engines for long distances, which as people have said are nowhere near as intrusive as those on Voyagers. 180s are definitely more suitable for XC-style journeys than the vomitors, the luggage setup is much better and the seats are wider and (IMO) more supportive.

Regarding luggage is xc voyager coach d large luggage space advertised these days? People seemed unaware of it or if they were they were not informed about cctv. Voyagers- crampt tilting trains for a train which wont tilt!
