I notice from the Wikipedia entry for the Granada team that it will finally start a service (not entire network) during March after a number of false starts. When I visited in mid 2015, the above ground sections looked largely complete so progress looks to have been slow.
The Granada metro will start operating in March 2017 and will cost less than one euro | Video

When I last visited (in 1969) the 'Granada Tram' was still a little network of 4 wheel trams with trolley poles...
