Graffiti at station

My local station was hit with graffiti I reported it and it was cleaned but very very poorly I told Scotrail no reply. It had foul language but it’s been cleaned but the words are still visible it’s Falkirk Grahamston. Who is responsible to clean it properly? Is it standard practice to half clean a job?

It is Scotrail's job if it is accessible by their station technition or contractor. It is Network Rails job if it is lineside, or for a few other reasons, usually access related. I would imagine in this case it is Scotrail's job. Have you tried contacting them with photos via social media. They tend to be rather more responsive to things like that for some reason...

It'll be the train company which manages Falkirk Grahamston that's responsible for removing graffiti, i.e. Scotrail. Are you saying that they've had a go at removing the graffiti but have done so somewhat half-heartedly?

Yes exactly. Been semi removed you can still see the faded swear words. I mean I know some graffiti clean ups are better than others. Local council is poor but I thought Network rail could have sorted it with it being a private building?
