So yesterday I was travelling to West Ealing to visit the Greenford branch line. I hopped on a reading bound Elizabeth line train from Paddington thinking both routes stopped at all stations. I didn’t realise my mistake until I got off at southall and a staff member told me that only Heathrow bound trains stop at West Ealing once I’d told her what had happened. Thankfully it was only a 10 minute wait for a train to get me there thank goodness but I was wondering why the heck I was in southall when I disembarked.

You must have boarded a train to Reading or Maidenhead. Only services to Terminal 4 or Terminal 5 stop at West Ealing.

Mistakes happen, at least it only cost you 15 or so minutes rather than an hour (or even worse, an expensive taxi ride)
