Does anybody else do this : -

I follow the railway lines then see where the old trackbeds branch off and follow them. It's quite fascinating sometimes and sad when you see what we've lost.

Click on Transportation under 'layers' and it will give you an overview of the current railway network.

Hmm...Google Earth can be fun by tracking down your local lines but on Google Maps it actually save people lives. Well there was a forest fire somewhere in America when a local when to Google Maps to see his house from the top he noticed a grey line near his nearby forest and when he zoom him it is actually smoke, well he called the police and indeed it was burning and a live is saved. No idea why is there a person there anyway.

Wondering how can it be that accurate, well when the accident happens Google Maps was updating that area.

Do you honestly believe that story? You think Google earth shows live images?

I honestly don't believe it, I have always believed that they weren't live. Might be wrong but unlikely.

If Google Earth showed live images - then why are there 5 pigs in the depot and no Disastros and why wouldn't it be dark at night. Doh!:banghead:
