Good Places to Trainspot?

(Just to start this off I didn’t know which thing to post this in)
I’m based in Adwick/Doncaster but I can occasionally go to York. I’m trying to find places around these areas that aren’t too far away but are also good for getting a few tones (I mainly only like Footbridges, Crossings, anything so the drivers see you when you want them to honk). I want some variety in my videos, please could you suggest some stuff?

Hatfield & Stainforth, or Barnetby are both good(ish) for freight...

If you are only wanting to get 'a few tones' one suggestion would be to look at some of the Don Coffey videos on YouTube and ascertain where the 'W' for whistle boards occur - then, keeping in mind safety and right-of-way issues you should be able to select a good location.
Generally, I think it would be wrong to attempt prompting a driver to give a tone where it is not required. (drivers need to concentrate at all times on the 'road and signals)
