When the EVR refurbished their platform at Duffield they acquired a row of Midland Railway lamp posts.

Now Peak Rail have a row of them on platform 1 at Matlock.

Meanwhile this poor soul lies neglected and lonely at Belper.

There are also some of these on a footpath besides Cressington Merseyrail station. Four of them, to be exact. Two of them have no lantern, like in the above photo, whilst the other two have remains of their old incandescent lanterns, though in a sorry, unmendable state.

That path is hidiously dark in the winter and Liverpool City Council has been pestering Merseyrail to relight the path for a while now. I'd love to see these four columns reused, but chances are, they'd be totally replaced.
