Gold card oyster discount.

Hi,

I have a tfl oyster season ticket. However when I travel outside my zones I'm still being charged the full fare. This happens every year, nothing strange here. But now the LUL ticket offices are all closed how do I apply the discount to my card?

Agreed, I got my discount added at Kings Cross St Pancras on New Years Day.

The person I approached claimed it had to be done online but I assured him this wasn’t the case, it had to be done in the supervisor functions of the ticket machine.

He tried it, saw it was correct, added the discount and said to me ‘it nice to learn something new every day’.
