Tomorrow 2 of us are travelling windsor & eton central to marlow.
I have a season ticket Paddington to marlow so will buy a paper ticket windsor to slough (using season ticket for rest of journey)
My travelling companion will need a single off peak ticket for the entire journey.
Can I buy them a ticket with a gold card discount as im travelling with my season ticket?

Yes, this would be fine. When buying Gold Card discounted (NGC) tickets for accompanying passengers, the rule is that you must either have your own NGC ticket, or be travelling on the route covered by your season ticket.

In this case you would be meeting the former condition until Slough and the latter after Slough. You don't need to buy your companion(s) an NGC ticket that exactly matches yours, as long as you are meeting the above conditions.
