Go North West trainer 6176 has received a rather interesting repaint for a depot in the Manchester area, namely St Helens Corporation. What also makes it interesting is the Go North West fleetname in the style of MTL (Merseyside Transport Limited) on the lower front panel, and also above the door, and lastly a 'SH' depot sticker, as carried by MTL vehicles allocated to St Helens up to the time Arriva acquired the MTL business. St Helens will be the first area to be franchised as part of the Liverpool City Region bus franchising, in September 2026......so is this a hint as to a bid for said area????
