Meanwhile, I've just looked at the canopy at Scorrier on Street View. A decker wouldn't even be close to fitting under there. There must be some damage to both bus and canopy.

Not wishing to castigate drivers but would seem to be human error. It happens (though it shouldn't) and at least it was out of service and only pride has been injured

How many tfc buses have been damaged / writen off so far?
The white demonstration enviro 200MMC is the only one I’ve heard written off. Many have gaffer tape repairs.
I've heard mixed messages about the Demo E200, some saying it's been written off, others saying it's gone off for repairs
Would go with it being written off given 2nd hand examples have since joined the fleet

Driver not used to being in charge of a d/d? I'd imagine the petrol station operators (and their insurers) might have a few choice words to share as well.
I saw it today. Hard to tell the extent of damage from a distance and with the front upper deck covered in clear plastic. The damage that is visible is right at the front of the top deck although it was unclear what else may be affected.

Saw it on the 34 a week ago, maybe all the green flash 200 might be going into tfc colors

Thanks for that, I thought it might be for the 66 which is now daily. I think before it was only Tuesday and Thursday. I can it remember it being hourly in the days of Western Greyhound.
Just read in August's Buses Magazine that some of the Plymouth Citycoach fleet will be joining TfC, for use on school services from September although it didn't say which ones or how many
The July issue also had a very good article on Cornwall's new bus network, mainly focused on TfC and Cornwall Council but also talked about Kernow's new operations, although nothing mentioned that hasn't been discussed on either this thread or the Kernow one

a citycoach was noted on a launceston school contract on Monday
So it is true, do TfC have many stand alone school services thought most were part of normal service routes, unless they will mainly be used on Callywith services?

405 was a Travel Cornwall taxi with 6 seats (3 facing each way) which makes social distancing impossible if anyone else gets on. Surely the timetable should warn it has only 6 seats. Also it was not accessible and despite not stopping for any passengers or traffic we were still 15 mins late by Winnards Perch. The only clue it was in service as a bus was a small 405 on the passenger side shade. Driver also didnt know he was supposed to serve all 3 asda bus stops and so after he sailed past us on the one before the entrance we had to practically stand in the road to stop him on the other side.
Also why on earth do the 20 plate E300 singles have no charging points. Truly awful experience. Not impressed with TfC on today's showing. Also, the TfC branding and Citybus branding are still on most buses together and green flash on the 75. Our 75 was 15 late both ways again despite almost no passengers.

As for the 405, it’s registration on the vosa site is on Summercourt Travel’s second More restrictive o licence that is Restricted up to 8 passenger seats As seen below on the vosa site.

I've never been very impressed with what I've seen of Travel Cornwall/Summercourt Travel, and in particular its drivers.

Perhaps said person could let us in on their secret of where they're located.
I searched everywhere i could think of any couldn't find the charging points. Other 'highlights' were my bus leaving Liskeard Morrisons 5 mins early as the driver was changing at Liskeard so wanted to get there quickly. On changing the new driver was complaining that PCB had switched his rota without his approval and he wasn't happy and didn't know the new routes. I liked that on one bus they covered PCB notices with TfC notices inside the bus but left the PCB logo on the rear window that everyone on the outside actual sees. Still bizarre to see Royal Parade full of Bluestar, More and B&H buses. Also what is the deal with the practically useless plastic sheeting PCB/TfC are using. They are almost worse than nothing. One positive was that most live stop displays were accurate. Also interesting that Rame was heaving with people, as was Liskeard Morrisons, but further inland Bodmin was a ghost town, as we Snozzle and Plymouth. Not sure why plymouth was so empty given Exeter is returning to normal to a degree.
