Because that's what you use for a bus so it doesn't take half a day to fill the tank.

Meanwhile, I've just looked at the canopy at Scorrier on Street View. A decker wouldn't even be close to fitting under there. There must be some damage to both bus and canopy.high speed pump and it doesn’t have a headroom issue

The white demonstration enviro 200MMC is the only one I’ve heard written off. Many have gaffer tape repairs. How many tfc buses have been damaged / writen off so far?
I've heard mixed messages about the Demo E200, some saying it's been written off, others saying it's gone off for repairsThe white demonstration enviro 200MMC is the only one I’ve heard written off. Many have gaffer tape repairs.
Driver not used to being in charge of a d/d? I'd imagine the petrol station operators (and their insurers) might have a few choice words to share as well.3.6m is I think what it says.
Not wishing to castigate drivers but would seem to be human error. It happens (though it shouldn't) and at least it was out of service and only pride has been injured
Enviro 400 fleet number 470 withdrawn with Major upper deck damage after they tried to take it under the Texaco garage canopy at Scorrier. There’s an outside HGV pump at this garage with No canopy at this location.
Saw it on the 34 a week ago, maybe all the green flash 200 might be going into tfc colorsEnviro 200 154 is now in Transport for Cornwall/Go Cornwall colours.
Wonder what PCB would replace them with. New MMCs perhaps?Saw it on the 34 a week ago, maybe all the green flash 200 might be going into tfc colors
Any one know what service 466 is? Noticed it on RTPI display at Devoran this morning and then saw a 466 bus. Not in the timetable but seemed to be going to Penryn.
Thanks for that, I thought it might be for the 66 which is now daily. I think before it was only Tuesday and Thursday. I can it remember it being hourly in the days of Western Greyhound.its a run from truro down to work the 66 back it looks like https://bustimes.org/services/466-truro-carnon-downs-penryn
Just read in August's Buses Magazine that some of the Plymouth Citycoach fleet will be joining TfC, for use on school services from September although it didn't say which ones or how many
So it is true, do TfC have many stand alone school services thought most were part of normal service routes, unless they will mainly be used on Callywith services?a citycoach was noted on a launceston school contract on Monday

Ah right, are Roselyn, Travel Cornwall and OTS still doing their Truro College work, or Kernow doing it all themselves now?i understand all of ours will be closed door now
Truro college contracts are as before, those contracts are still runningAh right, are Roselyn, Travel Cornwall and OTS still doing their Truro College work, or Kernow doing it all themselves now?
Still plenty of variety at the college then, how long is the Truro College contract normally?Truro college contracts are as before, those contracts are still running
But their management have told everyone who has questioned lack of WiFi and usb that they are incorrect and all the 20 plates are fitted with these items. I couldn’t find them neither. Cornwall councils press release said all vehicles will have these features. Also why on earth do the 20 plate E300 singles have no charging points.
All the new buses supplied so far have been ADL dealer stock to a basic specification. I would assume (hope) they'll be retrofitted in due course. But their management have told everyone who has questioned lack of WiFi and usb that they are incorrect and all the 20 plates are fitted with these items. As for the 405, it’s registration on the vosa site is on Summercourt Travel’s second More restrictive o licence that is Restricted up to 8 passenger seats As seen below on the vosa site.

A member of Their management Is arguing with anyone who suggests they aren’t fitted already that they’re incorrect. Are they somewhere unusual perhaps? All the new buses supplied so far have been ADL dealer stock to a basic specification. I would assume (hope) they'll be retrofitted in due course.
I've never been very impressed with what I've seen of Travel Cornwall/Summercourt Travel, and in particular its drivers.405 was a Travel Cornwall taxi with 6 seats (3 facing each way) which makes social distancing impossible if anyone else gets on. Surely the timetable should warn it has only 6 seats. Also it was not accessible and despite not stopping for any passengers or traffic we were still 15 mins late by Winnards Perch. The only clue it was in service as a bus was a small 405 on the passenger side shade. Driver also didnt know he was supposed to serve all 3 asda bus stops and so after he sailed past us on the one before the entrance we had to practically stand in the road to stop him on the other side.
Also why on earth do the 20 plate E300 singles have no charging points. Truly awful experience. Not impressed with TfC on today's showing. Also, the TfC branding and Citybus branding are still on most buses together and green flash on the 75. Our 75 was 15 late both ways again despite almost no passengers.
Perhaps said person could let us in on their secret of where they're located.A member of Their management Is arguing with anyone who suggests they aren’t fitted already that they’re incorrect. Are they somewhere unusual perhaps?
