Go-Ahead pulls out of DLR running

Go-Ahead has raised eyebrows, dropping out of the running for the DLR concession just a week before the bid submission deadline because its bid partner Colas Rail decided to pull out (rumours speak to a disagreement on percentages). The other shortlisted bidders are Serco the current operator, Stagecoach and Keolis/Amey Rail.

Bid deadline is September 9th, winner will be announced next summer and take over control from September the 14th next year.

Bus and rail group Go-Ahead has been forced to withdraw from a competition to run Docklands Light Railway services at the 11th hour after parting ways with its French joint venture partner.

Interesting development considering Colas have been looking after the Stratford International branch since it opened so wouldve have a little bit of inside knowledge for the bid.
