Plymouth City Bus cannot have the new fleet numbers has their computer only takes 4 digits. Dartline's is more modern and takes 5

I do not think East Yorkshire has. I was in Scarborough earlier in the week and did not see anything carrying 5 digit numbers.

My understanding is that these are, essentially, engineering numbers and as far as I am aware only the operators under the control of City of Oxford are going to carry their new numbers. Pulham is only partly renumbered so far.

East Yorkshire are applying the new 5 digit numbers to their current fleet as and when vehicles are repainted. All new vehicles are receiving them from new.

Go South Coast use the five-digit system internally only; adding 60000 to the numbers displayed on the vehicles.

East Yorkshire are applying them to vehicles as they are repainted etc however internally vehicles are still referred to by a 2 or 3 digit fleetnumber
