They are fun. I had a quick go on the GNER one, driving a train North from Newcastle to Cramlington. I've also had a go on the Virgin Pendolino and Voyager simulators, which are even more realistic as they're a full cab mock which moves on hydraulics!

Hi there i was wondering whether they would allow for a birthday treat to have a go as i am turning 14 Soon and i am Very interested in the HST and Virgin trains. Thanks

I think they probably would at a price.
I know TPE do a simulator at the NRM, but they charge £100+ if you want a go.

I wouldn't of thought so as they aren't toys. Maybe at a price as Gizzy said.
