Not according to National Rail Enquiries about 2 minutes ago and my information is suggesting 2 to possibly 10 days.

Sevices being diverted via Chepstow.

Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Bristol Temple Meads will not run between Birmingham New Street and Bristol Temple Meads.
Trains between Newcastle and Plymouth will be diverted between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Temple Meads via Chepstow with journey times extended by up to 90 minutes.
Passengers may use First Great Western services via Swindon or alternative CrossCountry services to Reading to connect with First Great Western services to Bristol Temple Meads

Services between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester / Bristol Parkway via Cam & Dursley have been suspended. Customers should travel on alternative services via Swindon.
For customers travelling to or from Yate or Cam & Dursley, a replacement bus service will run to/from Gloucester, and to/from Bristol Parkway.

I can promise you it is open mate - I've just worked a train through there!!! Thought I'd have to go via STJ again which would mean a bloody late finish but thankfully NR let us go booked route

You really would think that NR would get its act together when passing out information this important. It is the one thing I really get p****D off over...poor and inaccurate information.

Thanks for the update and wait for the odd scream or two as a couple of people get seriously kicked for misleading me.

I think "The Hawk's" solution for the execution of Edmund Blackadder (Series 1) is most appropriate.

Probably down to 6b13 robeston - westerliegh oil train. Reported derailed one tank and a bogie on the 66 on the loop at yate but clear of mainline. Fire service attended and were satisfied there was no risk so allowed the line to re-open.
