Will be travelling outward Glossop - Chester tomorrow, returning on Friday via Macclesfield. Planning on buying an any permitted return then filling in the off-route gap with singles to get to Macclesfield.

Anyone have any better ideas? Two travellers, both holding 16-25 railcard, one with a GM traincard season.

A Cheshire Day Ranger at £15.20 per person would cover everything if it were a day trip.

Edit: The loophole I was going to send you appears to have been recently invalidated which is a bummer.

I'll have another look. Remember that Glossop-Chester is valid via Crewe, reducing the amount that is 'off route'.
