Just after a bit of insight into the Glop Train Memory Test. I failed it the first time and due to resit it very shortly. During my prep I‘ve had a bit of a breakthrough. For a practise test I took the decision not to make any notes and just read through the passage carefully about three times within the allotted time and just repeat key things in my head. I ended up only getting one question wrong. It’s made me question whether taking notes is the right technique for me. When I sat the test the first time I was scribbling down what I thought were important points to remember pretty much all the way through the allotted time and when it was all taken away my mind just went blank. Think I maybe made my mind go too fast and inadvertently drove all the information out. All the multiple choice answers are very similar so it’s quite easy to doubt yourself if you aren’t sure. Has anyone that’s done this test experienced similar? Do you feel note taking is essential to pass this test, not necessary if it doesn’t work for you or think maybe you need to try and find a balance?
