Hello
Ive been asked to find the cheapest PRIV fares for the following journeys:
Friday 14th September (ONE person)
Glasgow Central (GLC) Derby single, using 1400 GLC Birmingham New Street as far as Crewe, then 1707 Crewe Derby.
The service from Glasgow calls at Carlisle, Oxenholme, Preston, Wigan North Western, Warrington Bank Quay and Crewe.
Splitting the tickets wont be a problem if it makes it cheaper. I have found that splitting at Oxenholme, Preston and Crewe gives a total of £20.95.
Sunday 16th September (TWO people)
Derby Rochester singles. To leave Derby some time around 1200, arrival time
at Rochester isnt a problem as long as it isnt after 1800ish.
One thing for the Sunday is that both friends are East Coast employees, so it would be cheaper for them to use an EC service for as large a leg of the journey as possible.
Ive looked at a single Derby to NNG (£2.00 each) and St Pancras to Rochester (£4.90 each using HS1 or £4.05 without). The travel NNG KGX would be using EC.
Can anyone see any cheaper way that Ive missed?
