Glasgow Train Challenge

Inspired by the recent adventures of Geoff Marshall and Vicki Pipe who called at all UK railway stations over the last 4 months and also the long running Tube Challenge, I thought I would ask if anyone has undertaken a similar timed challenge to visit all the stations covered by the SPT Roundabout ticket (link to map: http://www.spt.co.uk/cms/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/RoundaboutMap_web.pdf) as I'm thinking of doing this myself over the next few days.

I can remember something like it being held as a forum challenge in August 15 (and probably before hand)

Calling at how many stations within the SPT Roundabout area as you could do within the timings allowed. Should be easy enough to do within a day, just need to time the hourly served ones to avoid long waits (Coatbridge Central, Carfin/Holytown)

(BTW, Geoff & Vicky called at all stations in GB rather than the UK, unless they did Northern Ireland )

Heres my proposed timetable for the day, any suggestions to improve it would be appreciated. I live in Broxburn so Uphall is my local station but it's better to go from Livingston South so Carfin and Holytown can get ticked off early on.

I done this on Monday and please to say we managed to go to all the stations in the Roundabout ticket zone. Not a nice variety of stock including 156, 318, 334, 170 and 380. There were a few tight connections at Paisley Gilmour Street (1 minute) and between Dalreoch and Dumbarton Central (we had 6 minutes to run to Dumbarton to get the stopper back to Hyndland via Yoker). overall it took 16 hours 13 minutes and 12 seconds to call at all stations.
