In a few weeks I'm going to be visiting Glasgow with the roundabout ticket.

Are there any stations within that area that are architecturally interesting or beautiful to photograph.

Even though it's out of the area I've also bought a ticket to visit Wemyss Bay

Not sure about beautiful, but more of the Southside stations retain their original buildings than those on the north, IIRC (Cathcart & Maxwell Park spring to mind)

Your trip has probably gone, but for any future visitors, you could add the lovely Wemyss Bay station on for about £7 return (from Bishopton, the last station in the Roundabout area). We did this and the biggest issue we had was finding a Scotrail member of staff who knew the Roundabout area. At the first station I asked for "an extension" (probably the wrong term) from the Roundabout area to Wemyss Bay to be told they didn't exist, a help point at Glasgow Central said best to ask the conductor on the train and the conductor wasn't sure and said just to ask at the ticket office at Wemyss Bar for a single on the way back (had two kids with me and a railcard, so the difference between return and single was negligible)

Still, the station was lovely.
