Hi all. I spent the morning on Saturaday looking at and capturing (with the camera) the final stags of progress in relation to the Glasgow - Kilmarnock Route Enhancement Project at Stewarton and Dunlop. It is exactly a week from now (Monday 14th December 2009) until we see a new half - hourly service being introduced between Glasgow and Kilmarnock in each direction from both Stewarton and Dunlop stations as part of the ScotRail December Winter 2009 Timetable. The project involved major station upgrades including adding a second platform at each station and 5.5 of new double track - as some of you may know the line was originally single track.
