Glasgow Central Station - Old Building

Hi all,

Browsing through images online of Glasgow Central, I've noticed that there was a rather large building on Platform 11, roughly where the main gateline for Platforms 11 - 15 now sits. If my memory serves, I vaguely remember it being branded for Virgin Trains at one point, even though they are located down at the end of the station.

Could anyone shed some light on what this building was for?

Yes, i only remember it as a Virgin First Class lounge.

Yes, i only remember it as a Virgin First Class lounge.

It wasn't in a very prominent location, as Virgin very rarely used and still rarely use Platform 11.
