Hi all. I went upto the top of the N.C.P. carpark in Glasgow Central High Level station to take photographs looking down to where the new platforms 12 and 13 will be constructed. Work is still on going and ballast lays in one big heap waiting to be levelled and rails and sleepers are also waiting to be laid. The two photographs below, taken Thursday 4th March, show ariel views of the on - going works which are being delivered to Balfour Beatty.

Hi all. On my way home from my day in Ayrshire I visited the site of where the new platforms 12 and 13 will be to capture some more up-to-date photographs to show the progress that is been made. The photographs were taken on Thursday 18th March and can be found:

Looking down into the station from platform 11:

The station arch now sees a concrete foundation below:

Sleepers and rails are stacked up waiting to be laid in the upcoming weeks:

Class 334 004 comes into the station to terminate a service from Wemyss Bay and passes by what will be the new platforms 12 and 13, currently a construction site:

It's encouraging to see track laying heading SW towards the Whitburn Road OB recently.

I drive along the A89 between A&B every day so I get to see pretty much the entire work site. It's all starting to come together...
