xc 12 hour hst and i would do it deffinately
I'd like to do the Glasgow-Penzance thing just to say that I've done it.
Would be hilarious to do on a Voyager. Not in a good way though.

Yeah. GC and W&S are always options aren't they.
What are their FC fares like?

That way if it's a Voyager I could get off at Carlisle and go home![]()
You can't get an Advance Glasgow-Penzance I don't think for some reason; you need either to split or pay the walk up fare (which is a cool £675 return).

It goes ECML; so you can get off nearer home at Newcastle![]()
If thiis is to be a weekend isn't there a cheaper standard fare that can be purchased beforehand and then the weekend upgrade, what would a journey that length cost to upgrade, £20?
It will be a weekend. So I should imagine it'll be cheaper to go SC and upgrade. Although technically, us priv thieves can't. So like the one last week, I'll be going for the super mega advance FC option.
£675?! Now THAT is a LOT of money.
Isn't a 7 day FC all liner without a railcard discount still about £100 cheaper than that?
Plus yeah, I wouldn't be able to afford it. Even if I did it on PRIV I wouldn't be able to afford a week of food/drink and places to stay!

Really? Hadn't you already guessed?BJ, there is something up with you..
Thats about a months pay.
