Happened to catch this by chance yesterday evening, not seen before, but about 10 mins in, and again towards the end, there are scenes filmed from what appears to be the buffer stop end of a run down small terminal station, track still in situ etc. Can't find any reference to it elsewhere, but this may just be me? I'm sure there must be something out there, but just curious to know the location?

Thanks. That may well make sense, will have a look. Should have grabbed a screen shot of the TV but phone was out of reach!

That would seem to be a 'definite may be', although there are no images that I can see taken from the approximate place the camera filming Gideon's Way was standing, ie behind the picket fence, back to the wall, looking out over the fence/gate line, and along the platforms. Good shout, will do more digging just out of personal curiosity!

The "Gideon's Way" episode in question, first aired in May 1965 but must have been filmed beforehand. Uxbridge Vine Street station closed July 1964, so the timeframe looks about right.

The series was made at Elstree with the producers being Robert Baker and Monty Berman, who were adept at convincingly using cheap and convenient locations to keep the costs down. Even if it isn’t Vine Street, the location is unlikely to be far from Elstree.

That possibly narrows down the filming date slightly further, as the 'Disused Stations' site (mentioned by @Gloster) suggests that Uxbridge Vine Street station track was lifted in March/April 1965.

IMDb doesn’t give any filming or production dates, but it gives the ‘Release date’ as March 27 1965. Wikipedia gives the broadcasting date as May 20 1965 and filming as November-December 1964. I suspect that ‘Release Date’ was roughly the day that producers confirmed that it was complete and could be programmed by the broadcasters.
