Getting to Harwich ferry during July strike action

What are the alternative bus/coach options for getting to the Harwich ferry during July strike action, if it occurs? What are the parking options for three days? Recommendations for free on street parking that is reasonably safe or relatively cheap car parks would be welcome.

A bit slow but there is a bus No 103 between Colchester/Manningtree/Harwich

Suggestion:
Get the train from Liverpool Street to Manningtree
Walk to the Skinners Arms ( About 10 mins )
Then 103 bus to Harwich

The bus number varies, more often it operates (hourly) as the 104, occasionally as the 102 or 103. Journey time from Manningtree to Harwich is about 45 minutes. Bus is operated by 'First' and normally originates from Colchester, if that's more convenient for connections.

Assuming you are heading for HPQ aka International Port, the 102 is a very limited service, and the other routes will drop you a mile away.

Yes, sorry, I basically mean the foot passenger terminal for the Hoek van Holland ferry. I can live with a walk or taxi ride up to about 1.5 miles away. Presumably parking at the terminal itself is very expensive and you might as well take the car to the Netherlands if you are doing that.

That's OK then. The direct walking route from Dovercourt Hospital bus stop is 1.1m according to G*****maps and looks fairly accurate and tolerable with pavements.
