Sorry to start a new thread, however I was wondering if anyone else has failed the DM interview for Great Western and if so, how long did you have to wait for feedback?
It's been almost two months since I failed my interview and despite several emails and phone calls to them, I am still awaiting feedback.
For those who don't know, I'm a previously qualified train driver (even have an NVQ in it!) so the feedback is really important to me to find out what I said or did wrong.
I did have a missed call on my mobile last week from a number I traced to Newport, however they didn't leave a message and there was no answer when I tried calling it back.
Annoying thing is First have done their usual thing and blocked me from re-applying for 6 months which is the most frustrating thing in the world when jobs at other locations are advertised that I could apply for! I've passed all my psychometrics so why the six month ban? The official line is that it's to "improve your skills relevant to the feedback" however there's no way to improve my skills of driving trains without actually doing it!
So, back to the original point: how long have others waited for feedback?
