Getting an earlier train...

Hi Gang,

Quick question...I have a Glasgow to Kings Cross advance 1st ticket with a seat reservation on a set train out of Edinburgh Waverley.....let's say 1700. The connecting train leaves Glasgow QS at 1545 giving a 26 minute connection. With no reserved seat booked for the first train can I get an earlier connection....say an hour earlier???

Yes, and you can use any of the four routes between Glasgow and Edinburgh on ScotRail.
