Hey,
I've desperately tried to get a job within project management on the railways. I don't however have an engineering background (something I now wish I'd done) nor do I have actual project management experience.
I do however have lots of work experience in a service providing environment, a Business Management BA and I'm just finishing an Engineering Project Management MSc in fact I have a month left.
I've applied for numerous jobs at Network Rail including 2 graduate schemes and 3 ordinary roles and also got to second interview stage with Bombardier before they decided I wasn't experienced enough! I'm determined to crack this "temporary problem" and would like to know if anyone has any advice?!
I thought my Masters would "bridge the gap" with the lack of an engineering background, this unfortunately isn't the case it seems
Any ideas anyone?!!!!
