Gerrards cross to Stanstead mountfitchet

I've got a friend who would like to go from Gerrards Cross to Standstead mountfitchet on 12th July, returning sat 14th. Does anyone know of a cheap ticket/ ticket split? I can't think of any off the top of my head. She has a yp rail card. Cheers

The only route to go within a decent time is to london marylebone and then cross to Liv st and up from there really £23.50 rtn. I dont even think a split would give you any saving due to the need to get the tube.
