German National Strike

Tall and air majorly impacted today across Germany. Does anyone know which regions ate affected on Friday. I know Bremen transport and airport shut again on Thursday but can't find where is affected Friday.

I can only find refs to air and to city public transport being affected today. (Apart from TGVs affected by the SNCF strike).

Bremen, North-Rhine Westfalia and Baden Würrtemberg are definitaly affected. Trams, buses, some airports including Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich. Knock on effects on all Lufthansa Group flights (Germanwings/Eurowings).
Mainline rail including S-Bahn, RE ect are not affected.

Thanks both. I know Bremen is striking Thursday but I'll be leaving by plane from Bremen on Friday and can't find anything confirming if the airport strike is just Tuesday and Thursday or if it includes friday.

I believe there are only 1 day strikes. However one can expect knock on effects into the following day. So its definitly wise to contact your airline.

There is no mention of any strike in Germany on the Bahn website. Mainly trains to and from France are affected.

That is because mainline trains are not affected. Its trams and buses and they often dont have "real time" on the DB website.
