The TfL bus spider maps are good for showing the main routes to and from a particular area, although being of a non-geographical nature they don’t necessarily show routes in relation to the layout of the road network. With most other bus operators now using geographical maps, is there any scope for TfL to follow suit and produce geographical versions of spider maps for the main London borough centres?

Spider maps are popular as they give a lot of relevant information in areas of complex services. Do these "most other bus operators" have the equivalent of spider maps of similar complexity?
