Genova to Venice

A colleague of mine is taking her mum away via cruise/rail. She has a fipp card her mother does not. We have managed to look up advance fares at 39.60 euros which allows restricted changes to the ticket but only by one hour if the boat is late.

Does anyone know how you can find out how much a walk up fare is please, she arrives Genova 02/11/10 at 1100am. Or does anyone have any sites where walk up fares can be found.

The Trenitalia website shows this - did you find the advance fares there?

The "flessibile" fare is effectively the walk-up fare - allows changes for up to 24 hours after departure. This is €47.10 for Genova - Venice in 2nd class, so not much extra really.
