As all other details of disruption are locked in thread titles of specific regions here is a general one.

- North Wales Coast line closed for foreseeable future between Chester and Rhyl.
- Major adhesion problems across the entire country particularly now down south of England.
- ECML north of Newcastle has REOPENED some services will now start to run on this route. Many trains terminating short at York and Newcastle still though including XC and TPE. 80mph blanket speed restriction on ECML lifted south of Newcastle but timetabled services now need to wait at stations to wait for time.
- East Coast now have some services to Leeds.
- Storm now appears to be travelling south and causing more major problems
- Reported wires down at [ Diss on GEML delays expected
- Also being reported that the routes from Selby - Hull and Scunthorpe - Cleethorpes are to be closed from 17:45 due to risk of storm surge. This is also the case on many lines in Lincolnshire and East Anglia.
- Services along the east of chte country currently sufering major disruption with the line between Ely and Cambridge Blocked andGN/GE Peterborough to Doncaster Suspended and other EMT local services suffering major delays due to blockages. Cambridge apparently struggling to get any services away.
- Blanket Speed Restriction in North of England Lifted
- Local services across the north appear to be returning to normal with some minor delays being felt on the following routes
Manchester - Stoke
Manchester - Crewe
Middlesborough-Saltburn
Sellafield - Millom
Nunthorpe - Whitby
- Most Scottish routes are returning to normal now south of Dundee. Northern and rural routes still struggling most major routes reopened now but still check.
- WCML Now open between Preston and Glasgow with a limited service. No Manchester services at all via Stoke or Crewe OHLE problems stated location unknown but believed to be Tamworth
- Disruption on Airedale and Wharfedale services due to trees falling on line.
- General risk of obstructions on most of network north of Watford and very poor rail conditions across entire country reducing capacity.
