Where would you hear ‘the curious tone of the cornet, clarinet and big trombone; fiddle, ‘cello, big bass drum; bassoon, flute and euphonium’? (And when?)

Helston, Cornwall on Flora Day.

Indeed it is. The line comes from Katie Moss’ song ‘The Floral Dance’, the best version of which (in my opinion) was by Peter Dawson. The Furry Dance takes place on 8 May or the Saturday before if that falls on a Sunday or Monday.

To you to compose a new question.

Thanks. Continuing on a Cornish theme:

Who wrote the lyrics of the Cornish 'National' anthem, The Song of the Western Men (....And Shall Trelawny Die?)?

You were the first to get the correct answer. 1337 to 1453. Your turn to set the next question
Open floor please. (Had this question in pub quiz a few weeks back, was wrong with 126 years, but managed to remember the right answer.)

Where did Martin change to Swallow, only to change back to Swallow, and then a final change to Martin?
