Alex Kitson, who was the Deputy General Secretary of the Transport & General Workers’ Union and a member of Labour’s National Executive Committee, had worked a milk round when he was younger. One of his assistants became rather better known. Who was the assistant?

Sean Connery

Indeed it was Thomas ‘Big Tam’ Connery, as he was then known, who delivered milk in Morningside for St Cuthbert’s Co-operative Society of Fountainbridge. Alex Kitson may have had a respectable career, but he wasn’t world famous.

To you to deliver the next question.
