Factory Records was one of the best-known independent record labels in the UK from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, and was home to famous bands such as Joy Division, New Order, and Happy Mondays.

Factory used a cataloguing system with artefacts prefixed FAC or FACT that included not just all their music releases, but also posters, marketing materials, videos, and famously FAC 51, the Hacienda nightclub on Whitworth Street West.

The sequence started with FAC 1, the first record they released, and ended (chronologically - there is a FAC 511, but that was used earlier) with FAC 501, the coffin used for the burial of founder Tony Wilson

But what was especially unusual about FAC 191?

Darn it, late to the party. I knew this, having visited often, and have stroked said cat, although it wasn't terribly friendly. A very effective mouser, apparently. Dappled grey but white underneath. (I also own Fac001 and 002!)
