I was going to do another space related question, but let's keep mixing this up.

Which scriptwriter in the 80s sang the theme tune to their own show they created as they didn't have budget to request the person they wanted to sing it?

Let's say Denis Waterman - he sang quite a few theme tunes.

Its not I'm afraid, I think Minder started in 1979, could be wrong.
October 1979, so almost the 80's :D

But he also did 'On the Up', but that started in Sept 1990. So I spectacularly missed the 80's!

He also sang 'Stay Lucky' (Dec 1989) and 'New Tricks' (Mar 2003).

Yes, multiplication and division. I went to Napier University and there's a set of Napier's Bones in a glass case in the Merchiston building.
