That is a freshwater lake, not a reservoir.Lough Neagh ? Borders five counties.
A most correct answer.Kielder Water, Northumberland?
As the raison d'etre of a reservoir is storing water, that is why Kielder Water is the largest man-made entity in the UK. Since I am an old fogey of 80 and remember the pre-used Imperial measures, the capacity of Kielder Water is said to be 44 billion Imperial gallons of water. This is a bit spooky, as that exact question came up in our pub quiz a few weeks ago and Rutland Water was given as the right answer. So I've just checked with Mr Google and it seems both answers are right! Kielder has the greater capacity, but Rutland has the greater surface area. Who'd be a quiz setter eh?!
You were declared correct and it passed to you...Things become a bit confusing, one way and another -- assuming that I first got the right answer: I've been having trouble thinking of a question to set; so I'll "stand down".
It was indeed... You may march out to the stirring sound of Eric Coates's masterpiece to set the next question.Used for practice by the dam busters?

What connects an R&B singer, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, the 1968 UK olympics team, a fictional pirate and an item of underwear?

The "Walter" part of Foggy's name is so rarely mentioned I thought it might be too obscure to use for this.Pedant Alert!!!
It’s Cyril Blamire, Walter Dewhurst, Herbert Truelove and Luther (Hobbo) Hobdyke is missing.

Quite right, in a short chase sequence where for a change he's pursued by competent police drivers. Your turn to plant a bomb.Octopussy
I only mentioned it as I asked a similar question in 2023 to which @Greenheart also guessed correctly (apart from not knowing Hobbos name). We must all be fans! The "Walter" part of Foggy's name is so rarely mentioned I thought it might be too obscure to use for this.
The first five "third man" characters were, I thought, sufficient... nothing saying a list has to be complete as long as it's obvious what it is, is there?![]()
