To close out the previous question, having looked it up "camisas nuevas" does relate to the Falange. "New shirts" relating to the influx of new members - after many of the original members had been killed in the civil war. So I was on the right lines.

And -- Googling "Maerzveilchen" -- all I can find, is stuff about literal violets, the flower -- and music inspired by them. Ah well, the thing's dead and done anyway !

Correct, if rumours are true, he was once offered the throne of Albania. Cricket, football and athletics blue for Oxford, he missed getting a rugby blue due to injury. Double international for England at football and cricket, he also played in an FA Cup Final. Vanity Fair magazine proposed the title of "King Charles III" when Fry was but 21 years of age.
