I know who SG was, but as for who the current Wimbledon Men's champion is, I haven't a clue without googling.Another hint, Spencer Gore was English, the answer I seek is not English, in fact not British.
That's a lot bigger hint than I was going to giveI know who SG was, but as for who the current Wimbledon Men's champion is, I haven't a clue without googling.
I was expecting someone else to chip in with the actual answer, but moving on....That's a lot bigger hint than I was going to give
I am going to give it to you.
The actual person is Carlos Alcaraz.
Your serve.
You're doing well enough. No idea about Gregor Fisher, but the other three have all starred in TV programmes beginning "Only....."
If it was an odd one out question I might be doing OK![]()
Grahams are hills in Scotland between 2000 and 2500 feet in elevation, and I'm fairly sure Hughs are also a category though I can't recall the definition. But since it's a sequence, the answer would then have to be Corbett?
Open floor if correct.
Jimmy Nail's character (and pals) in "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet"?Who had to choose between the Rhine and the Tyne?
You're on the right line - except it was one specific character, and it was not Oz...Jimmy Nail's character (and pals) in "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet"?![]()

Ipswich Town 1-2 (my sister still cries over that one!Manchester United have never lost a Premier league game at home when leading at half time. In fact the last time they lost a league game at home when leading at half time was Monday May 7th 1984.
Which team did they lose to?
Is the correct answer.Ipswich Town 1-2 (my sister still cries over that one!
Would that be Rotherham Utd?I am going tio try a possibly obscure football question from 1970-1971. Preston North End got relegated in 1970 to League 3. However, they had a good run and at the end of the 1971 season, and in the penultimate match they beat Fulham away from home. So in the final match if they won they would be promoted and be champions of league 3. The match was at Deepdale and the score was 3-o PNE vs opponents.
Who were the opponents?
Bloody hell. That was quick. I was there!Would that be Rotherham Utd?
