I think it's a type of isopod but I don't know the species.

I would say coconut crab, but as they cant swim they arent exactly marine.

Though I ate Japanese Spider Crab once and that was huge, so maybe that. (I think its the only crab i have ever eaten as well)

I think there could possibly be a certain amount of confusion size-wise as there are those with a small central body with long spindly legs and the are those with a large solid body size. Sea spiders fall into the first category and sea scorpions fall into the second category. The one that I had in mind was the Giant Sea Scorpion.
