Staying with a musical theme (albeit questionable ;)), what word is used more than any other as the first word in the title of UK Eurovision Song Contest entrants?

Heading the charts with six entries.

  • 1980 Prima Donna - "Love Enough for Two"
  • 1984 Belle and the Devotions - "Love Games"
  • 1985 Vikki - "Love Is"
  • 1995 Love City Groove - "Love City Groove"
  • 1997 Katrina and the Waves - "Love Shine a Light"
  • 2012 Engelbert Humperdinck - "Love Will Set You Free"

But you probably knew that ;). Please take the floor.

That is correct. At least no names were ever mentioned although it is believed both Columbo (Frank) and Mr Bean (Rowan!) showed some identification during the course of the programmes.

For you the next question.
Thank you. No decent question to hand so an anonymous Open Floor please.

What was scaring people witless in the Gevaudan region of south-central France (modern Lozere departement) in the 1760s?

La Bête.

That's it -- enormous, mysterious carnivorous mammal (maybe more than one) which reputedly killed some 100 (plus-or-minus) people in the area between 1764 and '67. Seemed more wolf-like than anything else, though never identified for certain -- numerous theories and suggestions; I believe that one highly-imaginative soul has suggested its being a (very) displaced thylacine or Tasmanian wolf :E ...

Your turn to mysteriously terrorise the peasantry.
