They are within the celestial tropics, except Hydra which is a long way up towards the North Celestial Pole.

The correct answer!

These are the 9 constellations on the flag of Brazil.

Spica is the odd one out as it is the only one above the equator band on the flag, representing the territories of Brazil above the equator. Vex(illology)ing isnt it.
