The answer is actually Walkerville, Ontario, not Cork. The plant in Walkerville produced its first car in 1904, only just over a year after Henry Ford's original plant in Detroit. The plant in Cork started production more than ten years later. And since Walkerville is a suburb of Windsor, Ontario I think that answer should have been accepted. In 1919 Ford opened its first factory outside the United States. Where?

Such corrections are important, thanks.I don't wish to disrupt the game and I don't have a question to ask, but in response to the question

However, dependent upon interpretation, Walkerville is not correct.Such corrections are important, thanks.

Dennis Wheatley for Roger Brook?Possible couple of hints, re the two still to get.
Matthew Hawkwood is the newest of the three -- creation of an author relatively recent on the scene: though the first Hawkwood novel was published in 2006, and the author had had published material not about this hero, pre-that. Hawkwood can seem in some ways, to be a bit "cribbed" from Cornwell's Richard Sharpe; though IMO still different enough, for the novels to be a worthwhile read.
Roger Brook has been around the longest; with the first book telling of his doings, published about three-quarters of a century ago. His creator was a very prolific fiction writer, by no means only of spy-and-war stuff: he is probably most renowned for novels with a background in the occult.
Was it John Creasey?
Thanks - I confess that I didn't think that I was right, so Googled him and the character after making my suggestion and, of course, found that I was wrong. I found that I recognised the name of the author, although I've never read any of his books.I fear not. Will admit that I had to Google Creasey -- had heard of his character Gideon, but "hadn't known it was him", as it were. The "Hawkwood" author is very much alive and writing now.
